Heritage Open Days – How a Peacock brought Hope to the village (Littleport, 2024)

The even focuses on the life, work, and legacy of Thomas Peacock – the local entrepreneur and benefactor who set up the successful Hope Brothers Ltd clothing shops, and the factory on what is now flats on White Hart Lane.

We will be telling his life story and showing artefacts, and clothing, and we welcome you to The Barn, off Main Street carpark (free parking!) on either day.

Light refreshments will be available. The venue has step-free access, and toilet facilities for all.
