Description
This 2008 re-print of ‘Merging – being the story of evacuation from Bethnal Green to Littleport’ was written by the boys of both Mathias’ School, Bethnal Green, London, and Littleport School during the Second World War.
It tells of the evacuation from London and shows the spirit of co-operation that existed during the Second World War and how the two cultures came together as one and learned from each other.
